1. Our Green World: Website Use

Our website is a place for plant lovers to discover and purchase a variety of plants, including Camellias, Fruit Trees & Plants, Groundcover Plants, Hydrangeas, and special Plant Collections. You agree to use our site for lawful purposes only and not to engage in any activity that could harm the website or our community of plant enthusiasts.

2. Product Information & Characteristics

We specialize in living plants. Each plant is a unique living organism, and its appearance may vary slightly from the images on our website. We provide detailed care instructions to help your new green friend thrive. Please note:

  • PLANT COLLECTIONS and GROUNDCOVER PLANTS are considered final sale due to their specialized nature and rapid growth characteristics. These items cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • We strive to provide accurate descriptions and images, but natural variations in color, size, and shape are to be expected and celebrated.

3. Orders & Payment Terms

Placing an order represents an offer to purchase our products. We accept the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and PayPal.

  • All prices are listed in US Dollars.
  • Your order will be processed and gently prepared for shipment within 1-2 business days.
  • We currently ship to most global regions but are unable to deliver to some parts of Asia and a few remote areas.

4. Shipping Your Living Treasures

We partner with trusted carriers to ensure your plants arrive safely. We offer two shipping methods:

  1. Standard Shipping: $12.95 via DHL or FedEx. Delivery occurs within 10-15 days after dispatch from our nursery.
  2. Free Shipping: For orders over $50, shipped via EMS. Delivery occurs within 15-25 days after dispatch.

Shipping timelines are estimates. Extreme weather or other unforeseen carrier delays may impact delivery. We carefully choose the best method for each plant’s health during transit.

5. Returns & Exchanges

Your happiness is our priority. If your plant doesn’t arrive in perfect health, please contact us within 15 days of receiving your order.

  • As noted, PLANT COLLECTIONS and GROUNDCOVER PLANTS are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • To initiate a return or exchange, please email us at [email protected] with your order number and a description of the issue. We may request photos to understand how we can help.
  • Once approved, we will provide a return authorization code and instructions. The original shipping cost is non-refundable.
  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 3-5 business days after we receive and inspect the returned plant.

6. Your Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when placing an order.
  • Provide a safe and appropriate delivery address where someone can receive the plants.
  • Care for your plants upon arrival, following the provided care instructions.
  • Understand that plants are living things and their long-term health depends on the care they receive in their new environment, which is beyond our control.

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and plant descriptions, is the property of House With Plants or our suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our express written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

House With Plants will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products. Our total liability for any claim related to your order shall not exceed the total cost of the order in question. We are not liable for plant health issues that arise after delivery due to environmental factors or care practices.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
